I have played golf almost my entire life in the Carroll County area and eventually went on to graduate from the Golf Academy of America in Myrtle Beach, SC in 2013. I have worked at multiple accredited golf courses around the Lafayette area since my graduation. My main passion is junior golf, which includes, coaching at local high schools as well as teaching golf clinics in the summer time. My goals are to get kids and families playing together. For the last few years, I have been heavily involved in the Special Olympics with their golf program in the Lafayette area. I currently live in Lafayette with my wife, Paige, and our son, Ellis.
I was born and raised in the Rossville area. I graduated from Rossville High School in 1968 and went to work for Chrysler Transmission in Kokomo in 1968, retiring in 2001 after 32 years. I married my wife in 1971 and we have 3 daughters and one deceased. I have played golf at Angel Hill since it opened. I have been employed here since 2002. In 2021 I became the course superintendent receiving my license from Purdue University. My goal is to have a course that people can enjoy playing and want to come back more often.
